Business Plans

We can assist you with either putting a business plan together or reviewing the scope of your business
plan to determine if there are other components which need to be considered. An effective business
plan needs to be updated and revised as circumstances change and enables the business owner to
project their business into the future and to outline exactly what they would like it to look like and how
they see it operating.

A good business plan usually covers:

  • Strengths
  • Weaknesses
  • Opportunities
  • Threats
  • Value Propositions
  • Customer Relationships
  • Customer Segments
  • Revenue Streams
  • Channels
  • Cost Structure
  • Key Partnerships
  • Key Activities
  • Key Resources

The more detail the better but an aim is to keep the content of the business plan relevant and accurate. To get the most out of this process the aim is not to produce a plan that then sits on the shelf and is not referred to again. We recommend that the plan should be a ‘living’ document that is then reviewed every three or six months or at most every twelve months and updated as the business grows and circumstances change.
