Payroll Tax, Fringe Benefits Tax and Land Tax
In addition to income tax requirements, many investors and people in business can also be liable for payroll tax, fringe benefits tax and land tax.
Generally:
- Payroll tax is only applicable once your total wages exceed the current annual threshold.
- Fringe benefits tax only relates to benefits provided to your employees.
- Land tax is based on the properties you own at 30 June of each year.
